When is the best time to invest in a designer swimsuit?
Designer swimwear is available in many stores, both online and offline. The best thing about online designer swimwear stores is that they have inventory all year long, unlike offline stores that rotate their inventory according to the season. This brings us to the question of when is the perfect time to buy a designer swimsuit at a relatively low price. The answer is straightforward: offseason. Many retailers lower their prices, have huge discount offers as well as amazing sales as soon as the summer is gone. This is because they want to get rid of the “last season” inventory and bring in next year’s. They do not want to be caught selling 2007 swimsuits in 2010 so they would rather sell their inventory quick even at a lower price. That is right ladies, you may be able to find your perfect bikini. Monokini, or one-piece swimsuit at half the price you would otherwise pay during season. You might say that you do not want last season, that you want to be ahead of fashion. Designers tend to carry their best pieces from year to year, so what you might consider now last season may be next season’s favorite pick.

Women’s designer swimwear has experienced many changes from the earlier fashion which were not as sexy and flattering. New age designers have restructured the essence of women’s designer swimwear. Today’s beachwear fashion has witnessed designs and styles like never before. Bikinis, tankinis and monokinis are three styles which are immensely popular today. Let’s look at these women’s designer swimwear trends a little more closely.
Bikinis, tankinis, monokinis and women’s designer swimwear
- Bikini – Basically a two part swimsuit, a bikini is currently the most popular swimwear trend. Bikini styles range from a little conservative to upfront and bold.
- Tankini – Tankinis consist of a tank top paired with bottoms which can be Brazilian, California, G-string or any style that the wearer might prefer. As sexy and appealing as a bikini, tankinis are the latest buzz in the world of women’s designer swimwear.
- Monokini – Essentially a one piece swimwear, monokini is a variety of the classic bikini. The eye catching monokini combines the sexy look of the bikini with a one piece swimsuit. Depending on your point of view, the monokini is a one piece swimsuit with cut outs at the sides, front, and back or a bikini fused together with anything from simple straps, sexy crochet, daring lace, or chain into a one piece. No matter how you look at it, the result is an extremely sexy swimsuit that covers all the strategic points.

Designer Monokini Styles of 2010
October 8, 2009 on 6:09 pm | In Swimwear - Swimwear Trends | No CommentsThe modern monokini swimsuit is designed as the ultimate in sexy swimwear. In essence, the monokini swimsuit is a variety of the classic bikini. It uses chains, strips, lace, crochet or other designer thought accessories to join the upper and lower portions of the swimsuit while still providing the basic needed coverage.
Designer monokini trends of 2010 point to the “mix and fit” option of the monokini swimsuit. What this means is that designers have thought of a way to make the connecting part between the upper and lower portions of the swimsuit an optional accessory. Women could wear the top and bottom as separates, without the connecting accessory that make the swimsuit a monokini, and thus, they are actually wearing a nice two-piece designer swimsuit. On the other hand, if the desired look is that of a monokini, they can simply attach the connection accessory and display their bodies into an eye catching, out of the ordinary monokini.
Another way of achieving the double functionality of the swimsuit is to have two completely different bottoms: one as a classical bikini, brazilian or string, and one as the classical monokini bottom that has the fashionable connecting accessory attached. This functionality can be easily accomplished with a sliding triangle bikini top that can easily incorporate the bottom part between the two triangle cups. Women may start off their day at the beach in the stunning looking monokini and later switch the bottom part for a nice classical panty bikini.
